The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 77 will conduct a one-day course "About Boating Safely" on Sunday, Oct. 21, at South Benson Marina, 236 Turney Road. The course meets the requirements for the Connecticut Safe Boating certificate, which permits boaters to operate power boats and personal watercraft, according to a release.
