 Knoxville Electrocution Accident Prompts Safety Checks

Marinas across Middle Tennessee are double checking their safety procedures after two boys were electrocuted in Knoxville on the 4 th  of July while they were swimming near a houseboat.


Electrical systems on boats must be wired in accordance with US Coast Guard and American Boat And Yacht Council standards.  Making a mistake can result in fatalities.  If you have doubts about your electrical system,  have a certified marine electrician look at it.
