The Portage County Sheriffs Office is offering a boating safety course t the Portage County Sheriffs Office at 1500 Strongs Ave. The course will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on May 29, 31, and June 4, 2012. Cost of the course, which is open to boat operators 10 years of age and older. Boat operators born on or after Jan. 1, 1989 must take boater safety class to operate. To register, please call ...
