Bay boaters can toss their tide charts to the wind they won't need them anymore.Wrong! Very bad advice. It is perfectly ok to use electronic aids for navigating, but they are not a substitute for paper charts. Never, ever rely solely on electronic means. It will fail you when you need it the most.
